Welcome to Sydney Kingsford Smith International and Domestic Airport

Sydney Kingsford-Smith Airport is located: On the southern side of the City.  The travel time by train is 10 minutes to the Domestic Terminal and 13 minutes to the International Terminal from Central Station.

Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport – it is well organised with excellent facilities. It’s very easy to access and to fly into and depart from.

This flight path  allows  spectacular views (on a good day – everyday!) taking in the view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and the sparkling Sydney Harbour.

 

Getting to and from Sydney Kingsford Smith International and Domestic Airport to the City – Central Station

Train Stations are conveniently located directly beneath both Sydney airport terminals. Follow the train signs and escalators down to the stations. Lifts are available if you have lots of luggage.
The train has Direct Access from International T1, Domestic T2 and T3 Terminals to the city.

Buses are available on the Ground level – use the pedestrian crossings from the main entrance doors. They are located between the Terminal and the Car Parking.

OPAL CARDS

You will need an Opal card to travel on all public transport in Sydney. They can be purchased at the Airport on arrival at the Train Station Ticket Office or Newsagent stands inside the terminals.

There are things to do at an airport besides sitting about waiting for flights!

Try Tarmac Tours – get up close to the big jumbos as they take off and land! – an amazing sight. (Weekend Tours only)
Take a Helicopter Flight over the city and our beautiful Harbour, they will meet you, take you on tour and then drop you off. Ask us to book you in, we may be able to arrange a drop off in town? May cost a little extra, but what a way to go!
